2) Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply, without restriction or reservation, to all camping accommodation or pitch rentals at Camping La Clémentine, to non-professional customers, on its website: www.camping-clementine.fr, by telephone on: 04 66 86 52 69, by post: Camping La Clémentine, 1313 Route de la Baume, 30480 CENDRAS, or by email: contact@camping-clementine.fr, or when the service provider markets its services. They do not apply to campsite rentals for mobile homes, which require a long-term rental contract. The main features of the services are presented on the website: www.camping-clementine.fr or in written form (paper or electronic) if the booking is not made online.
The Customer is required to read them before finalising their booking. The choice and purchase of a service is the sole responsibility of the customer.

The Customer declares that they have read and accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale before proceeding with the online booking or, if the booking was not made on the internet, by any other appropriate means.

3) Reservations

The Customer selects the services they wish to book on the website, or provides information on any document made available by the service provider, in accordance with the following terms and conditions:
The Customer is responsible for checking the accuracy of the Booking and for immediately reporting any errors to the Service Provider. The Booking shall only be considered confirmed once the service provider has sent the Customer confirmation of acceptance of the Booking by email or post. Any booking made on the website: www.camping-clementine.fr constitutes a distance contract between the Customer and the Service Provider. All Bookings are nominative and may not, under any circumstances, be transferred.

4) Booking conditions

Booking a stay implies acceptance of our terms and conditions of sale and the campsite's rules and regulations. Booking requests must be made in the name of a specific person. They must be made by an adult who must be present for the entire duration of the stay. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. The surnames, first names and ages of all participants must be provided no later than the day of arrival.
Any changes to the booking must be notified in writing. The booking only becomes effective after receipt of the deposit and booking fees and after receipt; either after acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale when booking online and, of course, confirmation of the booking by our services (confirmation email). Reservations are only binding on us if we have accepted them, which we are free to do or refuse, depending on availability.
We offer family-oriented stays in the traditional sense, and our accommodation is specially designed for this purpose. We reserve the right to refuse any reservation that is contrary to this principle or that seeks to circumvent it. This is why booking a camping pitch or rental accommodation is strictly personal. Under no circumstances may you sublet or transfer your booking without our prior consent. Only one family (same name, same address) is permitted per pitch. If several families are staying on the same pitch, a separate booking must be made for each family.
Campers are responsible for keeping an eye on their personal belongings (bicycles, etc.). The campsite accepts no responsibility for any incidents falling under the civil liability of the camper. All guests must comply with the rules and regulations. Each tenant is responsible for any disturbances or nuisance caused by people staying with them or visiting them.

5) Arrivals and departures

In low season, arrival and departure days are flexible.
In high season: arrivals and departures are possible on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays (depending on the range) for a minimum of 7 nights in rentals and individual sanitary facilities. For camping pitches, arrival and departure days are flexible.
For camping pitches: arrivals are possible from 4 p.m. and departures must take place before 11 a.m.
For rentals and luxury pitches with private sanitary facilities: arrivals are from 4 p.m. and departures before 11 a.m.

Delays

In the event of late arrival or early departure, compared to the dates mentioned on your booking voucher, the entire stay will remain payable. You will not be entitled to any refund for the part of the stay not taken.
In the event of a no-show at the campsite and in the absence of a message and/or supporting documentation, the rental becomes available the following day at 12 noon after the arrival date specified in the rental agreement; full payment for the services remains due.

Camping pitches

The basic package includes:

  • A pitch for a tent, caravan or motorhome with electricity.
  • 2 people
  • A parking space for 1 vehicle (to be parked on the pitch)
  • Access to sanitary facilities and waste water disposal

For infrastructure and safety reasons, our campsite is not suitable for motorhomes and double-axle caravans. Consequently, motorhomes and caravans equipped with two rear axles are not permitted on the site.
We invite our customers to check the specifications of their vehicle before making a booking. Failure to comply with this restriction may result in access to the site being refused without the possibility of a refund.
Motorhomes and caravans with a total length exceeding 7 metres must contact the booking department before making a reservation to check compatibility with our pitches and infrastructure.
If prior contact has not been made, the campsite reserves the right to refuse access to the vehicle concerned, without any refund being payable.
A maximum of 6 people are allowed on the pitch.
On the day of your departure, pitches must be vacated by 10 a.m. at the latest. Failure to do so will result in an additional night being charged.
Your pitch must be left clean and free of rubbish.

The basic package includes:

  • The rental accommodation is fully equipped with kitchen utensils, crockery, furniture, blankets and pillows.
  • 2 to 8 people (including babies and children), depending on the capacity of the rented accommodation.
  • We reserve the right to refuse access to the campsite to groups or families with more than the capacity of the rented accommodation.

Deposit
A deposit of €300 will be requested upon arrival, so it is essential to check the inventory and report any discrepancies within 24 hours. After this period, no claims will be considered. The accommodation must be left in a perfectly clean condition, and the inventory may be checked. You will be liable for any broken or damaged items, as well as for any repairs that may be necessary.
The deposit will be returned to you at the end of your stay, less any compensation deducted, based on supporting invoices, for any damage noted during the exit inventory. The deduction of the deposit does not exclude additional compensation in the event that the costs exceed the amount of the deposit.
If the accommodation has not been cleaned before your departure, you will be charged a cleaning fee of between €79 and €119 including VAT (depending on the accommodation).
For any late departures, you may be charged an additional day at the current nightly rate.

6) Group bookings

Any booking of more than 4 accommodations by the same individual or by different individuals who know each other and are travelling together for the same reasons on the same dates is considered a group booking. For all group booking requests, you must contact us by telephone or email so that we can review the booking request before accepting or declining it.

7) Rates and payment terms

Price
The Services offered by the Service Provider are provided at the rates in force on the website www.camping-clementine.fr or on any information medium provided by the Service Provider when the Customer makes a booking. Prices are in Euros, with and without value added tax.
Prices take into account any discounts that may be granted by the Service Provider on the website www.camping-clementine.fr or on any information
or communication medium.
These prices are final and non-revisable during their period of validity, as specified on the website www.camping-clementine.fr, in the email or in the written proposal
sent to the Customer. Beyond this period of validity, the offer expires and the Service Provider is no longer bound by the prices. They do not include processing and management fees,
which are invoiced separately, under the conditions provided for on the website www.camping-clementine.fr or in the information (letter, email, etc.) communicated to the Customer in advance and calculated before the Reservation is made.
The Customer must pay the total price, including these fees. An invoice is issued by the Seller and given to the Customer no later than the balance payment due date.

Tourist tax / Eco-contribution

The tourist tax, collected on behalf of the municipality, is not included in the prices. The amount is determined per person per day. It may vary from year to year.

Terms of payment

For bookings made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 30% of the price of the services booked must be paid at the time of booking (within 10 days). The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start date of the stay at the campsite.
For bookings made less than 30 days before the start of the stay, full payment must be made at the time of booking.
In the event of non-payment of the deposit at the time of booking (within 10 days) or the balance no later than 30 days before the start of the stay by the customer, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and re-offer the accommodation for rent.
Accepted methods of payment are credit card, cash, cheques (made payable to Camping La Clémentine), bank transfers and Chèques Vacances (ANCV).

Promotions and discounts

Any applicable discount cannot be combined with other promotional offers. It will only apply to consecutive stays on the same pitch or in the same rental accommodation and only to people who are present for the entire duration of the stay. Current discounts and promotions cannot be combined with those generated by ACSI/ANWB/ADAC cards.

8) Cancellation and modification of stay

Reservation made directly with the campsite without cancellation guarantee
(On site, by telephone or via the campsite website)

In the absence of Cancellation Cover, any cancellation will be subject to the following conditions:

  • Up to 60 days (D-60) before the start date of the stay: cancellation of the stay will result in a refund of the deposit paid, less any booking fees (if charged at the time of booking according to the applicable pricing conditions).
  • Between D-60 and D-15 before the start date of the stay: cancellation will result in the total loss of the deposit paid. The balance of the stay is not due.
  • Less than 15 days (D-15) before the start date of the stay: the total amount of the stay remains due. No refund will be made, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
All cancellations must be notified in writing to the campsite (by registered letter or email). The date of receipt of the request shall be taken as proof.

Depending on the situation and the reason for cancellation, the campsite may, on a purely commercial basis and without obligation, offer an alternative solution, subject to availability, such as:
- Postponement of the stay to the same calendar year,
- Issuance of a credit note valid for a future stay the following year.
In this case, supporting documents may be requested from the customer. No alternative solution is guaranteed and this does not constitute a right for the customer.

Reservation made directly with the campsite with Cancellation Guarantee

(On site, by telephone or via the campsite website)

Cancellation Insurance is a paid service corresponding to 5% of the total cost of the stay. It must be taken out at the time of booking and cannot be added at a later date. With Cancellation Insurance, customers can cancel their stay at any time, including after the start of the stay, according to the following terms and conditions:

  • Up to 60 days before the start of the stay: refund by bank transfer based on the following calculation => Total amount of the stay + supplements + tourist taxes paid – administrative fees – amount of the Cancellation Guarantee.
    No supporting documents are required.
  • From 60 days before the start of the stay until the end of the stay: reimbursement is only granted in the event of one of the following events, upon presentation of supporting documents:

- Serious illness, physical accident or death of the customer, their spouse (legal or common-law), ascendants or descendants, guardian, brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, parents-in-law.

- Refusal or modification of leave by the employer, upon presentation of an official certificate.

All claims for compensation must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, accompanied by supporting documents, as soon as the event occurs and no later than three working days thereafter.
When cancellation occurs after the start of the stay, reimbursement is calculated on a pro rata basis for the nights not used, according to the same calculation method.

Booking made through a commercial partner or tour operator
For all bookings made with a partner (Sunêlia, Campings.com, Maeva.com, Vacances Select, Pitchup, etc.), the general terms and conditions of sale of the service provider concerned apply exclusively. The campsite cannot under any circumstances act as a substitute for the service provider.

Change of stay
Any request to change your stay must be made in writing (by email or registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt).
Changes can be made up to 60 days before the start date of your stay, subject to availability.
The changed stay must comply with the pricing rules and restrictions applicable to the new dates chosen (minimum length of stay, high or very high season, etc.).
The price of the new stay will be recalculated based on the rates in effect on the date of the change request:
If the new stay is more expensive, the difference will be payable by the customer.
