These general terms and conditions of sale apply without restriction or reservation to all camping accommodations or rental of pitches at camping La Clémentine , for non-professional customers, on its website: www.camping-clementine.fr or by phone +33 4 66 86 52 69, mail : Camping La Clémentine , Reservations Department, 1313 Route de la Baume , 30480 CENDRAS or email, or when the Service Provider markets its Services. These do not apply to mobile home camping rentals, which require a long-term rental contract .
The main features of the Services are presented on the site: www.camping-clementine.fr or in written form - on paper or electronically - if the reservation was not made online.
The Customer must read them before finalizing his reservation. The choice and purchase of a Service are the sole responsibility of the Customer.
The customer declares to have read and accepted these general terms and conditions of sale by ticking the appropriate box before booking
online, as well as the general terms and conditions of use of the site www.camping-clementine.fr or , if the booking is not made online has been made, in another suitable way.
The Customer selects on the site, or provides information on any document made available by the Service Provider, the services he wishes to book, subject to the following conditions:
The Customer is responsible for verifying the correctness of the Reservation and immediately reporting any errors to the Service Provider. The Reservation is only considered confirmed after the Service Provider has sent the Customer confirmation of acceptance of the Reservation by e-mail or by post or upon signature of
the contract if the reservation is made directly on site with the Service Provider
Any reservation made on the website www.camping-clementine.fr constitutes a contract concluded remotely between the customer and the service provider.
All Reservations are personal and cannot be transferred under any circumstances.
The reservation of a stay implies acceptance of our terms and conditions of sale and the internal rules of the campsite. The reservation request is by name. It must be carried out by an adult who must be present for the entire duration of the stay. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. The names, first names and ages of the participants must be communicated at the latest on the day of arrival. Any change to the reservation must be communicated in writing.
The reservation only becomes effective after receipt of payment of the deposit and reservation costs and after receipt; either the reservation contract duly completed and signed, or after acceptance of the general conditions of sale when booking online and of course validation of the reservation by our services (confirmation email).
Reservations only bind us once we have accepted them, which we are free to do or refuse, subject to availability.
We offer family-oriented stays, in the traditional sense, the accommodations are specially designed for this. We reserve the right to refuse any booking that violates or attempts to circumvent this principle. That is why the reservation of a camping pitch or rental accommodation is on a strictly personal basis. Under no circumstances may you sublet or transfer your reservation without our prior consent. Only one family (same name, same address) is allowed per pitch. If several families follow each other on the same site, it is advisable to make a reservation for each family.
Campers are responsible for the maintenance of their personal belongings (bicycles, etc.). The campsite declines all responsibility in the event of an incident related to the legal liability of the camper. All customers must adhere to the provisions of the house rules. Each lawful tenant is responsible for the nuisance and nuisance caused by the people who stay with him or visit him.
Arrival and departure :
In low season, arrival and departure days are daily.
In high season, arrival and departure is possible on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays for a minimum rental period of 7 nights. On camping pitches, arrival and departure days are daily.
For camping pitches: arrival possible from 3 p.m. and departure before 10 a.m. For accommodation rentals: arrival from 5 p.m. and departure before 10 a.m.
In case of late arrival or early departure, with regard to the dates stated on your booking voucher, the full stay remains due.
You cannot claim a refund for the part of the stay that has not been made.
In case of no-show on site and in the absence of notice and/or proof, the rental becomes available the next day, at 12:00 noon after the arrival date specified in the rental contract; full payment of benefits is still required.
The basic package includes:
• The pitch for the tent, caravan or motorhome for 2 people with electricity. • 2 persons
• The space for 1 vehicle (to be parked on site) •
Access to toilets and sewage disposal Access to • entertainment, services and leisure facilities.
A maximum of 6 people are allowed on the premises.
On the day of departure, the pitches must be vacated by 10 a.m. at the latest. If the hours are exceeded, an extra night will be charged. Your pitch must be delivered clean and free of waste.
The basic package includes:
•The rentals are fully equipped with kitchenware, crockery, furniture, blankets, pillows.
• 2 to 8 people (babies and children included), depending on the capacity of the rented accommodation.
• We reserve the right to refuse access to the campsite to groups or families arriving with a number of participants that exceeds the capacity of the rented accommodation.
Access to entertainment, services and facilities.
Sheets are not provided, you can rent them on reservation at the reception.
You also have the option of renting a cot and a high chair at an additional cost.
All rentals are strictly non-smoking.
A deposit of 300 € will be requested upon arrival, it is therefore imperative to check the inventory and report any discrepancies within 48 hours. After this period, no complaint will be processed.
The accommodation is returned in a perfect state of cleanliness and the inventory can be checked, any broken or damaged object will be at your expense, as well as recovery of the accommodation if necessary.
The deposit will be returned to you at the end of your stay, less the fees withheld, on the supporting documents, for any damage found in the inventory when leaving the accommodation. The retention of the deposit does not preclude an additional compensation in case the costs exceed the amount of the deposit.
If the accommodation has not been cleaned before your departure, you will be charged a cleaning fee with a minimum value of €69 to €114 including VAT (depending on the accommodation).
Any late departure may be subject to an additional day charge at the applicable nightly rate.
Any reservation of more than 4 accommodations by the same natural person or by different natural persons who know each other and travel together for the same reasons on the same dates of stay is considered a group.
For any group booking request, you must contact us by phone or email to review the booking request before accepting or declining it.
Rates and payment terms
The Services offered by the Service Provider are provided at the rates applicable on the website www.camping-clementine.fr or on any information medium provided by the Service Provider at the time of reservation by the Customer. Prices are in euros, with and without VAT.
The prices take into account any discounts that may be granted by the Service Provider on the website www.camping-clementine.fr or on any information or communication medium.
These prices are final and cannot be revised during their period of validity, as stated on the website www.camping-clementine.fr, in the email or in the written proposal sent to the customer. After this period of validity, the offer expires and the Service Provider is no longer bound by the prices.
They do not include processing and management costs, which are billed separately, according to the conditions indicated on the website www.camping-clementine.fr or in the information (mail, e-mail, etc.) previously sent to the customer communicated and calculated before making the reservation.
The Customer owes the total price, including these costs.
An invoice is drawn up by the Seller and delivered to the Customer no later than the due date for the payment of the balance.
Tourist tax :
Tourist tax, collected on behalf of the municipality/municipality, is not included in the price. The amount is determined per person and per day and varies according to the destination.
Terms of payment :
For reservations made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 35% of the price of the amount of the services reserved must be paid at the time of reservation (within 10 days). The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the stay at the campsite.
For bookings made less than 30 days before the start date of the stay, full payment is due at the time of booking.
In the event of non-payment of the deposit upon reservation (within 10 days) or of the balance at the latest 30 days before the date of commencement of the stay by the customer, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation and the accommodation for Rental.
The accepted methods of payment are credit card, cash, checks (payable to Camping La Clémentine ), bank transfers and holiday vouchers (ANCV).
Promotions and discounts:
Any discount cannot be combined with other offers. It is only applicable for consecutive stays on the same pitch or in the same rental accommodation and only for those present throughout the stay.
Current discounts and promotions cannot be combined with the ACSI and ANWB pass.
Cancellations and changes:
Change of your reservation:
The customer can request the modification of his stay (dates, type of accommodation) on written request (mail or e-mail) subject to availability and possibilities. For
the following season. If no change is made, the customer must carry out or cancel his stay under the original booking conditions.
Any request to extend the length of your stay will be made subject to availability and according to the applicable rates.
Any request to shorten the length of your stay is considered a partial cancellation and is subject to the terms and conditions for cancellation and interruption of stay.
Cancellation of your stay without cancellation guarantee:
Any cancellation of a reservation must be made in writing (registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt or by e-mail) to the establishment. You will be asked for proof. The cancellation, on the part of the customer, involves a variable billing, depending on the date on which
- Cancellation more than 60 days before the start of the stay: Reimbursement of the deposit paid, deducted from the reservation costs (19€) and any cancellation guarantee (4% of the total amount of the stay, excluding reservation costs)
- Cancellation between 60 and 15 days before the start of the stay: Invoicing of all deposits paid.
- Cancellation less than 15 days before the start of the stay: Billing of the full amount of the stay. You will always be offered a postponement of the stay, subject to our availability. In case of refusal by the customer, the above conditions apply.
The so-called "comfort" reasons (eg meteorological reasons) are not allowed. The establishment can offer you an additional Guarantee which, under certain conditions, allows you to obtain a refund of the amount of your stay in the event of cancellation.
This guarantee takes effect from the signing of the rental contract and expires at midnight the day before the first day of the stay. Subject to compliance
with the contractual obligations, this guarantee allows you to recover the amounts paid (reservation costs and subscription to the cancellation guarantee deducted), if your stay is canceled in the following cases according to the exhaustive list below:
Serious illness, bodily injury or death of:
- You, your legal or de facto spouse, your ascendants or descendants, your guardian, your brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, fathers-in-law, mothers-in-law Serious illness or serious physical accident means any temporary
or permanent damage to your physical integrity, confirmed medically and involving the cessation of any professional or other activity.
- Pregnancy complications.
- Serious damage: Imperatively require your presence on the planned day of departure and after a theft, fire, water damage or natural elements that destroy more than 50% of your main residence or business premises (certificate to be submitted by the insurer).
- Economic dismissal: From yourself or your spouse , provided that the procedure has not been started before booking the stay.
- Refusing or changing leave: in response to a request from your employer.
- Covid-19: Free cancellation and refund up to the day of arrival in the following cases:
- The customer or a member of the stay is positive or Covid-19 at the start of the stay.
- Quarantine, after a positive test or a proven contact case, in the obligation to self-isolate and do the PCR test
- Hospitalization of the client or a member of his family (legal or de facto spouse, ascendants or descendants, guardian) affected by COVID
- Requisition by the authorities as part of the fight against COVID
- The so-called "mass risk" reasons are excluded (general quarantine and confinement, state of emergency, border closure, administrative closure of the establishment, refusal of entry to the country of destination in case of absence of vaccination and in case the country of destination already has a vaccine prescribed at the time of booking the stay)
All these reasons for cancellation must be communicated by registered letter, accompanied by all necessary documents proving the facts (expert report, police report, summons, medical certificate or death certificate, employer's letter, etc.) as soon as they arise and at the latest within the 3 working days following the claim or event.
The so-called "comfort" reasons (eg meteorological reasons) are not allowed.
No right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, we inform you that the sale of accommodation services provided on a specific date or at a certain frequency is not subject to the provisions related to the 14-day cooling-off period.
Barbecues : Only electric or gas barbecues are allowed on the campsite.
Visitors are authorized under the responsibility of their hosts after they have declared their identity at the reception upon arrival, regardless of the time spent on the campsite. Parking is ONLY allowed in the reception car park at the entrance of the campsite. Any person not declared at the reception will be immediately expelled, as well as their host, without notice or refund of the stay.
Visitors have access to the infrastructure of the campsite, with the exception of the aquatic area and the lagoon.
We accept animals for an additional fee, provided basic hygiene rules are respected. Animals must be kept on a leash and have no access to swimming pools, sports fields and various playgrounds. They must be vaccinated (with up-to-date vaccination booklet) and must never be left alone in the rental accommodation or on the pitch.
Category 1 and 2 dogs are prohibited on the campsite.
Children's playground – multi-sports ground :
Children stay under the supervision of their parents at the various play and sports facilities on the campsite.
Regulations for swimming facilities:
Please note that the swimming facilities are NOT supervised (pools and lagoon)
The aqua park is strictly reserved for campers. Minor children must be accompanied by an adult and may not swim alone under any circumstances. The shower is mandatory. People who do not respect the instructions will be removed from the pool, and from the campsite if they refuse to comply with the established rules.
It is mandatory to wear the identification bracelet during your entire stay on the campsite and in the camping facilities. Without a bracelet, access to our various services will be denied.
The speed is limited to 10 km/h. Priority for pedestrians and cyclists throughout the campsite. Parking is prohibited in the alleys and access roads: it must be done on
the plot rented by the camper, and not on the neighboring plots, even if they are free. The barriers are closed from 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM, during which time all vehicle traffic is prohibited. In case of late arrival, you must park in the parking lot at the entrance of the campsite. The use of sound equipment must not harm the neighbourhood. The noise must not disturb the peace of the campers. It is strictly forbidden to honk.
In the absence of execution of only one of the clauses of this contract, the latter may be automatically terminated by the administrator.
Insurance / Liability :
It is up to the campers of caravans to take out insurance for their caravan, tent, equipment to guarantee the risk of theft, fire, water damage, civil liability to third parties. The management declines all responsibility in case of theft, loss and damage due to bad weather or accidents that may occur in the campsite, in the parking lots, on the pitches or in the common areas. The campsite cannot be held responsible when practicing sports or other activities, in case of injury, illness or death of customers.
The rules of the campsite:
All campers are obliged to comply with the provisions of the internal regulations. Anyone staying at the campsite must be listed at the time of booking. The management reserves the right to evict, without notice or reimbursement, persons who do not comply with the rules of procedure, or who have not declared all the occupants or who have provided false information about the occupants of the pitch or rental accommodation.
You authorize Camping La Clémentine , as well as any person who carries out an assignment for us, to photograph, record or film you during your stay and to use said images, sounds, videos and recordings in any medium (in particular on the website and social networks), as well as on all presentation and promotional media for the campsite. This authorization applies to both you and the persons staying with you. The sole purpose is to ensure the promotion and animation of the establishment and should not damage your reputation in any way. This authorization is granted free of charge for all countries and for a period of 5 years.
Mediation of consumer disputes:
In accordance with the provisions of Article L 1612-1 of the Consumer Code, any customer of the campsite has the right to appeal free of charge to a consumer mediator for the amicable settlement of a dispute between him and the operator of the land.
